Our BedspreadI made this afghan sometime in the past 13 years. It's a king size and so warm!
I made bumps that spell out each of our names and in the middle is our last name, Wheeler. I had to sew around each bump with a heavy thread to make them stand out better. I don't remember how long it took me to make it, but I do remember frogging it a lot to get the names all even.

I love this. It's handy that all your names have 4 letters too!
I use an afghan my mom made YEARS ago that have similar colors, but it's done in all single crochet & it's huge on a king size bed. I think Mom worked on that afghan ALL WINTER the year she made it. It was too heavy for her to use, so I got it.

That is very nice! The way you sewed around the popcorns
really accents the letters. That was a lot of work and it
looks like it was worth all of it. Great piece!

Thanks Everyone!
In my mind I think of it as my masterpiece. I really don't like to sew, but had not choice to get the popcorns to 'pop'.
