Just got the email from Patons this morning announcing this lovely yarn. Unfortunately, the only place to get it is at Michaels.

Has anyone tried it? I just LOVE the diagonal striped bag in their booklet.

Just wondering how much it goes for. How nice it felts, etc.

This is the first I've heard of this yarn and I'm interested in knowing how well it felts too. I think it was Caron who also has a new felting yarn out but I didn't really care for those colors. I love the colors Paton's SWS is offering.

I tried to use their store locater but it didn't seem to work for me. :( I used both Firefox and MSIE. Does it whos the results with a popup? I will have to keep my eye out for this. We don't have a Michael's but we have Hobby Lobby.

I noticed on the Paton link the yarn is 70% wool and 30% soy. Can these types of yarns be felted? I thought they had to be 100% wool.
The colors are pretty though.

They say in the newsletter that it is good for felting..
" this wonderful yarn also felts perfectly."
I have used yarn that wasn't 100% wool that felted great..

miss kitty, thank you for that online store link. I used their online store locator but couldn't find one that sold it!! Woo hoo!! Now to figure out what colors to get!

I'm normally not a big fan of the NEW stuff, but for some reason, this really calls to me. Could be the beautiful colors. I am a sucker for variegated.

I checked out the blogger report too and WOW, just LOVE her designs. That vase is awesome!!

This yarn is wonderful and it look great felted. I've already completed a project using SWS and it's really pretty. I got the pattern via the Paton newsletter. There's a picture on my blog.
