Pinwheel Afghan (From: Herrschner's Blue Ribbon Afghans)
(From: Herrschner's Blue Ribbon Afghans) In the book it calls for Burgundy color, but I am using a soft green. Isn't this a beautiful pattern? I started on it day before yesterday, in the late afternoon. I have another row almost finished now to add to this.......I wanted to show you all. It is a lot of fun to make. Thank you my Mania Fairy for sending me this book. I just love the ghans in it. pics are clickable

I love this pattern (& this book). I've made 2 of these already / one dark green & one purple.
I've got another one in the works (forever it seems like) in sunshine print. I take it in the car when we're going on an extended road trip. I  the frosty green color you're using.
I should take a page from your method & join as I go. Right now I've 25 motifs in a pile.

It is a fun one to work on.
I like being able to do this one on the go. I am really enjoying making it
And I must admit that I am kind of partial to the Frosty Green. It is one of my favs when it comes to the color green

I hope that I can get this one finished over the coming weekend
(probably wishful thinking). I want to get this one done to send to a friend  , and I hope
I can get it done really soon
I have a few baby ghans that I can do up now (needed the white yarn) that I have the yarn I needed. I want to get allllll of them finished by weekend after this one. I should change my middle name to 'Always Running Behind', or, 'A Day Late And A Dollar Short' 
They would both fit, LoL. Lordy, my fingers are going to be flying, LOL (I hope  )

My Wish for getting finished over the weekend is out the window 
I am working on it most ALL OF THE TIME and it is coming along slower than I had thought (took a wild guess) that it would. I know I should get it finished by this coming weekend....I am hoping for, keep your fingers crossed
Here is a link to my blog where you can see it as it progresses. I have completed 50% of the ghan so far this morning
and have finished 7 more pinwheels today so far. I am on my way to get supper now. I hope to get as many more done tonight before bedtime. Link here to see what it looks like now. I just love the Scuptured look that this pattern has. CrochetManiacs

I don't get to crochet near as much as I want to since I have little ones with me all day (not that I'm complaining! ). It would probably take me
