Please pray for my MILMy MIL Lucille has recently been diagnosed with Emphysema. Never smoked a day in her life and to my knowledge hasn't been around second hand smoke either. I know that smoking isn't the only cause but, it sure is a major cause. She wil be 80 years old in October.  This Egg has been found, and counted

Go online & learn all you can about it and trust the Lord. I like the Mayo Clinic site for medical infor.
Of course I will be happy to pray for her.... and for you & your family.

She will for sure be in my prayers too Pam. Remember to keep the Faith first and
foremost in your heart, don't look away from that. My Mom was also diagnosed
with Emphysema when she was 61. Eight years later and 90 pounds lighter she
was off of all the meds and the oxygen and even walking two miles a day.
God can Bless and heal, just keep that Faith

Oh yes, our prayers were surely answered for her. But we got sad news ten years later. She was diagnosed with lung cancer. My Mom was a life long smoker. She quit smoking when they told her she had the Emphysema and never picked up another cig.
As we saw it, God gave her to us for that many more years (11 years)
We lost her when she was 72. They said that it was due to the cigs.
My Mom had no ill feelings toward God, she said that even though she did good after that (Emphysema diagnoses), she had still brought this on herself. She reminded us of how God gave her, and us 11 more years with her. That in itself was a wonderful blessing.

I will keep your MIL and family in my prayers.
I too have Emphysema. I'm on a bunch of Meds and oxygen ( I can't hideout any more I have a 50foot leash).. I was a smoker until 5 or 6 years ago. (  I'm getting CRS too) (( Can't remember s**t)) They did some test last March when I was in the hospital that they said I would have gotten it even if I didn't smoke..Guess they found some kind of a marker..This is not about me sorry..
My thought and prayers are with you and your family..
