Oh it is such a pretty day here, hope it is beautiful where you all live.

I felt so good yesterday that I actually got out and did a little yardwork.
Hubby and I are going to mow today. My youngest got everything weedeated for us yesterday and I did some leaf blowing and raking.
Got my drive and porch and steps blowed off too. Looks so nice

Ladies I need your prayers. I am at work and feel awful. They say several of the Nurses now have the Flu(hope they are wrong) About two hours ago I started feeling bad. I mean bad. I now have a fever. I feel sooooooo bad. Help!!!!!

I hope it's just some little old mild bug that will be out of your system asap!
You should go on to the doctor, or the ER and get an H1N1 test to rule it out for your peace of mind.

Well, I think the DON was wrong. There are Nurses out really sick. I do not have the flu. I am grateful for the prayers. Two Tylenol and lots of liquids later I feel some better. I am grateful! Thank You Ladies.

I know you have to be glad to. Good news to know you
are feeling some better after Tylenol and fluids. Something
like that is going around here too. My boys called today and everyone they know are down with this....it appears to be a nasty cold with mild fever

We are concerned here about the swine flu with the college back in.
They are now saying as of three days ago that there are 28 confirmed swine flu cases at the college alone.
Now as of this morning, they are saying that 25% of the kids at the college are out sick. No telling how many of them have it.

Makes me wish I lived in a town wthout a college.

A local school here is closed because 200 kids went home sick with 75% confirmed flu. This is scary. I feel better. Some congestion. I worked today. Off tomorrow. Everyone is sick. One confirmed case of the flu. Am grateful!!!!Thanks for prayers.

That's what I thought, it's a little early for the flu.
But I guess that the kids had it when they started school and passed it around.
They were going to start giving the flu shot in September and said that it lasts 6 months..
I don't now about the H1N1 they said it will come out later.

The doctor said my lungs cleared up pretty good. They is more damaged because of the pneumonia. So I need to be on oxygen 24/7. So I have a leash now.

Can't run to far, the tubing is only 50 feet.

If you are like me Miss Kitty, I can only run about 30 feet and I am pooped

So glad that you are much better now, just wish you didn't have to carry around that leash

Me too Selena On the swine flu.
There has been one here and one there for us in Ky.
ever since it first came to light. All summer long, we have had
some cases.

I am like you, I didn't think one could get the flu in the summer

Glad you are all feeling better. Me too. Miss Kitty call your oxygen supplier...you can get a longer tubing. We had a 100 ft. for my mother. They make tree joiners. they supplier will know and understand. I think there are several variations of the flu going around. I mean we are a mobile society and it mutates. If a regular virus can mutate so can the flu.

Miss Kitty, glad to hear better news coming from your hospital stay.
Son#2 got sick a few days ago, I was so worried it might be the flu. But it is a cold. I still told him I don't want any of it, as the last time I was sick, it took me forever to get over it. But this season I am in better health, so I should be better able to resist the nasty little bugs.

Glad you ladies are feeling well enough to battle. I see that as progress. Well I thought I sprained my foot. It got so bad I went to the Docter this morning. I have gout. My left foot is swollen and about three times it's normal size and the pain is awful. I now have four pills to take several times a day. Thank God for Insurance. Because otherwise it would have been a nightmare. My boss was a total b----.I need you to fax the doctors excuse to me now. Here I am can barely stand up muchless walk. I went to have labs drawn and they faxed it for me. Thanks for listening. I need your prayers right now.
