Socks for Hubby (I knit a long time ago...)... I just don't think I ever took a picture of them. These are the first pair I knit him (I am knitting him another pair right now), which he never wears (which is why I told him, "You never even wear the first pair I knit you!"...) He says he will when it gets cold enough out.

Those are very nifty socks.
So, when does it get cold there?

From about the end of November to February-ish. About May it is already hot again, here.

MwaM, your DH really will have a chance to wear them!
I got out my winter house shoes this morning, with thick sturdy soles and lambswool inside. I do like them.
I ought to go to the thrift stores and look for a longer winter bathrobe. I like the ones that are ankle length.
When I took a walk yesterday, I noticed that some were still running the AC, and there I was with a jacket on!
Cool weather means more crocheting.....

We were still in the 90s day before yesterday. Today it is supposed to be a high of 74 because of a weak cold front and rain, which we really needed. Although we didnt need the flooding.

Nice socks!!
Good job.
I was sitting on my chair last night and told hubbie my toes were getting cold. Had to put on a pair of socks.

You know what is really strange to me, is I *always* use to wear socks. Not since we moved here! I hardly ever wear them, either. I have been wearing my really cool Mary Jane slippers a couple times lately though, Miss Kitty.
Yesterday it was 98 here, I don't know what the high was; today the high is 101.
