Hi....Thank you so very much for allowing me to be a member of the Crochet Mania Group. I have crocheted ever since I was a very small girl, sitting at the feet of my Grandmother, watching her in awe as she would take a ball of thread or a skein of yarn, and magically invent a beautiful piece of crochet handiwork. She was my first teacher, and to her I give the credit.

I live in WV, and am employed full time as a Legal Assistant, having worked in the Legal Field since a senior in high school. I’ve been married for 43 years, have 2 grown sons, and 4 grandchildren. I am also the very proud owner and Mommy to a miniature black Dachsund, named Slinky.

I love to crochet in the evenings after arriving home from the Office Scene, and on weekends when traveling to sites where I can find thrift stores.

My favorite items to crochet are afghans (using 4 ply yarn, as well as the fancy furs which are available today), baby items, dishcloths and tidy towels.

Crocheting is one of this world’s most priceless therapies for relief from whatever ails you!!!

We're glad to have you here. I also have 2 sons, although they are not grown, they are teenagers and a 3rd boy living with us.

My mom just recently got a mini dachsund. She's was 1 lb when she got her and she's almost 4 lbs now!

My grandmother's (all 3 of them) were crocheters at one time or another.

It's beautiful country up there:) I hail from the Sunshine State and love to crochet. This is a great group and we have a lot of fun. Yes, WV has some beautiful countryside. The mountains and valleys are breathtaking. I've lived here all of my life...and that's a long time..let me tell you.

Ironton, Ohio, is across the river from Huntington, WV, and I've been there many times.

I've also visited YOUR beautiful sunshine filled State of Florida, and perhaps someday when I'm a bit older, I'll get to retire my weary bones down there.

Again, thanks for the warm welcome, and I'm looking forward to all of the upcoming messages pertaining to one of my great loves...crochet.
