To tassle or not to tassle?Do you think people prefer tassles on their scarves or no tassles?
I'm making a couple of scarves and am wondering what I should do. I remember that last year for Christmas my mom wanted tassles and my dad and brother did not? Is it a gender thing??

I like scarfs better with a bit of yarn fringe or tassels on the ends. I think it makes the scarf look more finished. Once my husband got a crochet scarf from his grandmother. It had the yarn fringe on the ends and he liked it. It was the only one he would wear that is until he left it in the garage and oil (yuck) got ont it. He's had others since-no tassel or fringe-but never wore any of them.

I am not a tassle kind of gal! I think it is a personal preference, not exactly a gender one.

What did you end up deciding for this? Tassles always look great at first, but can end up looking not so nice after awhile...especially if it's done with a type of yarn that fray easily.
