What Do You Think?Hi all,
I was looking at a blog today and the blogger was showing
some stuff she had received from an earlier secret pal swap.
One of the
gifts looks like an item I made for another swap for the
person she received it from. The reason I am pretty sure,
is the item was an original design I came up with. But, that is
not the question. Here's the question:
Do you think it is ok to re- swap an item that was made by
someone else?

No No No No No!!!! If it is handmade, then it was made for YOU!!!!!!! I would never ever re swap an original item made especially for me!!!!!!!!!

Wow! That's pretty gutsy.
I'm with Trish, it would never cross my mind to re-swap a gift.
I treasure anything someone took the time to create for me.

No I would never do that but when I was in a secret pal at the ville I know I was sent regifted items A lot of them. The only thing I have ever sent someone that wasn't new was a Booklet for crocheted sweaters I knew I would never make it was sort of vintage but stylish sweaters. I knew the lady made things like that and she seemed to like the booklet. They have set the cost of participating in theirs so high that I don't do it anymore. I believe the minimum is now $25..

I have to agree...though I must admit that now and then I'll get something in a swap that I know I will never use and I still keep it. Hubby just shakes his head.
