WIP Friday (Oops!) July 9thOkay...excuse this week? Uhm...overloaded? My apologies fellow maniacs. Have been prepping up, the past few days, for company this evening. My husband is sponsoring an Israeli for 3 months. He and many different people from all countries are attending a seminar/training thing of sorts at the base out here. So, it has been panic cleaning. I am now welded to my carpet shampooer and Boo dog is STILL with us, although I don't know for how long.
Stitch-wise, I am still cross-stitching on the birds and flowers (I know, I know...it ain't yarn!) I'm also crocheting a couple of afghans in the evening, when it's cooled a little. :) Kiwi birds are on hold until I get this place under control. :)
JazzRizz...Did you finish Mystic Meadows? How are the socks coming along? Woodland Shawl? Have you been able to work on the baby blanket?
TXCrochetLover...What a lovely summer top. It looks pretty versatile, too. How far along are you with it?
TamKing...Wow! That is gorgeous. Have you finished it yet?
Kahud...48...Okay. Step away from the freezer and put that ice cream spoon down. :) (I totally understand.) How is the babyghan coming along?
MissKitty...You are a GREAT cheerleader!

I haven't quite finished the sweater yet, though I did manage another inch on the body last night. I just got home from work and after dinner I plan to get busy on it!

Tamking...That really is a nice looking sweater. Are you going with the short or long-sleeved version? Oh, Knit Picks yarns are lovely aren't they? What sock pattern are you eyeballing with your new yarn?

Mystic Meadows is finished . . . but I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet. It turned out pretty long, and I haven't figured out how to get the best pictures (and my back is out at the moment, complicating things further).
Woodland Shawl get s a few rows done now and again, but it's not a priority project at the moment.
Merino Lace Socks progress. . . I've got the heel turn and gussets finished on the 1st sock. Now, I just need to finish the foot part & start the 2nd sock.
The Baby Blanket has sort of fallen by the way side.
I've started Mr. Greenjeans from Knitty . . . with Simply Soft Shadows . . . this has become my must knit project right now.

This is my first top down sweater . . . and I'm hooked! So far this has been a terrific project, and it's going fast. It's a great project to work on while watching TV. I'm just about to the cabling part. Just a few more increase rows to go.

I finished the cami, it turned out fitting really well. Now I have to get out in the sun or bronze up with gel, cause my tan line is higher on my chest! LOL!

TX...WTG! Alright! That has to feel good. Will you be posting a picture? (Good luck with the tan. Be careful in the sun. )
Jazz...Cables? EEK!
Miss Kitty...Love the cheerleaders!
Tamking...How's progress?
You guys have really made me start thinking about crocheting that "Coat of Many Colors" again. I've always wanted to do it, but haven't been brave enough.
