PhoenixTears62 ~ We missed you!!!
Kathy~ Arn't you tired of make scrubbies by now???
I knitted a scrubbie with peaches and cream and 1 1/2 inch netting strips together.
It works pretty good.

Yes I am, I am using the nylon netting...that I have purchased from Hancock online now 6 times!!!
Last order last week was a little over $100 (that is just I think 101 yards). I figured it would be easier
to just buy some much at a time and that way I wouldn't be buying it so often.
Hubby has made me and apparatus that wraps around my left
hand where the nylon pulls thru. It was beginning to make my hand raw

Took up a smaller hook and am making a simple scarf in sportweight. I like the small project and the lighter yarn, and the thinner hook. Am finding it less tedious than the lap robes I was working on in WW. Could be that it was because I was riding in a car. Nevertheless, I"m enjoying my small project.

I've been working with fingerweight and lace weight yarn, when I did the baby stuff and Hubbie's gloves it felt like I was kniting with Bulky yarn..
It's nice to work small projects for awhile..

Miss Kitty, do you especially like any particular lace or fingerweight yarns? I do feel like taking a bread from the WW for a while. I had a skein of sportweight and just thought I'd do something with it.
Kahud, I'm sure the bingo players are looking forward to their winnings.

Lace weight;
KnitPicks-Shimmer, Gloss, or Shadow
Jojoland Harmony
Fingerweight;
KnitPicks; Imagination Hand Painted Sock or Imagination Hand Painted Sock
Jojoland Melody Superwash
They are the ones that I use the most, but there are plenty more that are good.

Hi Kathy and Miss Kitty:) Its' great to see you gals. Been working, schooling and just trying to keep it going. But life if really good for me and I find I have some extra time to finally get to crochet. I hope to get by more often. How are you all doing????

You know me, still a kickin and still a crochetin
I have lost some weight, not as much as I had hoped for at this time.
I hoped it would have been more by now but ain't complainin.
I got over the bad sickness I had back in the spring and summer.
After one doctor finally gave me antibiotics for Lyme, I finally came
back around to my old self again. It took me about 4 months after
that to actually feel almost normal again.
Now I am back to my old woman sassiness again
hubby is not impressed
But happy that I am back to my old self again He can't stop lovin this old girl

LOL they have to love us. Remember its for better or for worse:) I am sorry to hear you had be so sick. Lyme is something else for sure. I am really glad you are doing better. I knew you would still be crocheting:) You will take it with you to the Pearly Gates. Congrats on losing the weight. Its best they say to lose it slow that you will keep it off better that way. I keep swearing off sodas and my hubby keeps buying them. I pray for will power.

Thank you Peg, I feel so much more like my old self now.
To top it all off back in april after the tick bite, I hit Perimenopause
head on with a vengance! I was a wreck for a few months. In and out of the hospital 7 times. They kept once when my heart went haywire. It was beating one beat in to two beats out. That was so scary to me, I thought I was going to die. My blood pressure was so high when the paramedics got here that it even had them concerned...you know that didn't help me one bit. They gave me 140 Lydicane to get me all stable and took me to the hospital. That's when they kept me and ran a bunch of test.
I was in the bed for two. I just didn't feel like moving. I just
knew I was gonna die, that's how bad I felt. No good docs around
here did't help much except for the one that finally gave in and
gave me those antibiotics (21 days of Doxycycline) and I had to beg him to.
