WIP's Wednesday- 12/24/08Hi all hope everybody is ready for Christmas. If not there is always next year!!Me between baking and cleaning I'm working on a Seraphina Shawl for MIL. (seen mine and wants one) Started knitting a baby blanket for nephew.. Found a fleece baby blanket to cross stitch at HL on sale. Going to do that and then try to knit a border around it instead of crocheting.. On hold till after Christmas.. Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Not crocheting much if anything right now. I am nursing a pulled
muscle in my upper back and am hesitating a bit on picking up a hook and yarn. I need to get finished the two Spongebob dolly's and I want to start on a comfortghan for this girl at Uanditrade.com that I have gotten to know, she is really having a hard time of it right now. |

Christmas Eve and the day before were baking, cleaning, and getting-ready days. The cake and cookies were well received.
The quiet today seems odd. Visits with loved ones are dear. Maybe I'll pick up a hook and some thread, along with the chores and daily routine. |

Sorry to hear that you are injured.. Hope you start to feel beter soon... Change of plans on my baby blanket... Still looking for the right pattern.. If I don't find a WOW pattern I going to go with a feather and fan lace one..

The only WIP I have going is a washcloth I am trying to knit! I got a couple of books at the library today that have tips and tricks for knitting. I am just practicing the knit stitch on this washcloth, trying to get the hang of it all! | ||

I'm going to do this in a baby afghan size. Went looking for a WOW pattern yesterday and nothing really WOWed me. So I'm working on Lots of Love..I was doing the border while watching a movie in the afternoon, well by the time I looked to see if I had the 9 rows I needed I had 23.. When it's mindless garterstitch(all knit) I just keep knitting...  So I had to take a few rows off...

Not so well, I just can't count the rows. I don't know exactly what to look for to know with all of the yo's in a pattern as to what a row looks like to be able to tell where I am.
The knit is on the back burner AGAIN! I need some of those mindless patterns I might can handle them better, LOL!
