I finished my first knit project, a washcloth in garter stitch. I made some mistakes but for a first time knit item, it turned out ok. Now I am making an amulet bag with beads. Got to use my new bead stringer I got for a gift. Man, those things are cool! Just whips those beads on the needle in no time! Love it! It says on the pattern all you need to know how to do is knit and decrease. We'll see. I'm using a pretty thin nylon thread and seed beads. I got some "00" needles from a craft show and I couldn't wait to use them, cause ya'll know I love the thread stuff. Here's the link:

Now that Christmas is over, I've pulled out some squares for an afghan that I'm making for my SIL.

I also have to finish up a MAM afghan that just needs to be put together for my nephew and his wife. It's a late wedding gift. But, their 1st anniversary is on March 1st, so maybe I'll have it done by then.
