Finished the potholder for the Swap and sent it it Suzee. Otherwise it's fairly quite on the crochet front. Am revising plans for the other potholders in the works. Haven't picked up the Christmas projects in a few days.
Sending you all healthy, cheery thoughts!

Working on finishing up my potholder for the swap. I am sooooo slow.
I am excited my dd asked me to teach her to crochet or knit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL it's my dream come true. I hope I can do it right and not freak her out. I figured I would start slow and teach the slip knot and chain and once she gets that go on. Any advice to teach someone to crochetl please let me know:) Thanks:)

Working on crocheting charity squares, and knitting a bowtie scarf. Finally finished that scarf I started in Feb! Am working on another helmet liner.
Peggy that is great about your DD wanting to learn to crochet! I'm gearing up for socks!

That's great that your DD wants to learn how- to.
Yea, just give her the basic chain then sc find a pattern, scarf or something that she might like with just sc, so she can practice.
Just doing all chains and all sc get boring. If you are making something that's different. So I've been told by DGD..
DGD did a ex-long scarf- chained 400, sc second chain from hook and each row started with a new color [Started and left about 8 inches of the new color for fringe].. She was going though my stash. Just made a skinny scarf about 6 inches wide.
