Another month gone by.. Seem like after the 4th of July the rest of the summer flies by.. Hope so this summer. I'm getting pretty tired of these 100+ degree.

I have to get busy and finish shawl for teen with b-day. It is done in cotton. I have to start x-mas gifts. Time will fly by. I need to do a baby blanket for baby due this month. I have been practicing knitting. I have mastered knit,purl,and moss stitches. Hope your feeling better Miss Kitty.

I am about done with my first helmet liner for the troops. I had some problems, but I am not frogging it!I am also working on another beaded bracelet, this one in turquoise and black. Did some sneaky stuff for the Ice Cream Social swap! But I am not telling on that one yet!

I do like the summer and its more relaxed feeling, but it sure would be good to take twenty degrees off the temperature and put it in December, January, and February.

I'm working on several lap robes, and started a table topper. Was a multi-frog beginning on the table topper, but it's going well now.

They are all gifts for the colder weather season. Nevertheless, I want to get them done.

Sounds as tho' we're all stitching away this week.

Mom w/a Motif

I'm still working on my shrug. And dishcloths.

We may be going away this weekend. So I will have to decide on some project to take with me. Probably dishcloths. For car knitting.

Now we have a teenage driver, which is nerve wracking. But hubby will be in the car (hopefully not SLEEPING, though~~ So I can knit.

)

I want to get this shrug done, so it will be done. (I'm testing the pattern and it has taken me a lot longer than I thought...) So I might take that too just to get it done. But, I want to take something FUN, it's a weekend vacation!

On a side note, we get to go somewhere cooler (does that sound weird? Not when you live where I live!!!) In the mid 70's this weekend~ I might freeze! Hee Hee.... (Going to Colorado, our old stomping grounds...)

Miss Kitty, our son's asthma has been bad with this heat. I told my husband, 'We might HAVE to move, if it's so hard for him here just to breathe...'

We used to live there (before we moved here). We both miss it. But we have to live here for work.
