Wip's Wednesday-----September 16, 2009
Another week down. So what is everybody working on this week??
Me;
Just working on my socks.
"with a Twist" socks. One row short of half way though the chart. Only have to do the chart 3 times before the heel.
Hugs and Kisses [X's and O's] finished the chart and started it again. Have 4 more repeats left til the heel..
and making more dishcloths with size 10 cotton. Someday I'll take a picture of one before someone takes it.
Hope everybody has a good week..

Miss Kitty, you've been busy. I'm looking forward to seeing the dishcloths.
I've been working on chores lately, but thinking about those Christmas projects to be done.
Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday!

I have started x-mas gifts. Am on the last row of the doily. It measures 25 inches. It has turned out pretty. Then on to another project. Miss Kitty the socks are pretty color. Kathy the babyghan is it a regular sized or smaller.

I am working on the Earl Grey socks. Five rows short of the first cable pattern. Then I have to do two more repeats of it.
Miss Kitty I love both your socks. I couldn't do a cable without my cable needle, either. The 'cable' in the Earl Grey socks is just two stitches and it's easy enough to work.
Here's the picture I already posted in the socks KAL:
When I get done with the first cable pattern I will take another one.
I'm thinking I shouldn't give these to my 17 year old son (I started them for him).... You should see what he has done to ALL the bathroom towels. ("I didn't do anything all I did was dry off with it...") Maybe I will give him the ones I just finished for my husband, and give my husband the Earl Grey ones...

I am crocheting the baby ghan to be approx 38x38
and will add a little bit of border.
I and doing it in a basic bubble stich... sc, dc, in one stitch, skip one
and repeat.

Anoramaxsis, you work fast! Congrats on your doily.
MwaM, those Earl Grey socks look nice. What a pretty yarn.
Kahud, the baby blanket sounds lovely. That's a useful size, too.

I am finished with the second helmer liner, and am working on the checkered flag charity squares. I ordered some knit picks wool for a sweater I found on Ravelry, I am going to attempt to finish that before the ladies campout. I need to get back on the socks, but haven't yet.

That's what I'm doing with the "with a Twist" ones is Right and Left twists.(RT and LT). It's the Hugs and Kisses that are making me use the cable needle. Wish I could do them like the twists. Hummmm

I think so to Serena, and with a little bit of a border,
it will be a good size for wrapping around the baby.
I never have liked anything smaller, there just isn't enough blankie

Sounds pretty Kathy. I am not fast I am just determined. I had that time I took off to make progress. I have a lot planned and need to stay busy.

It is turning out nice.
Me too on getting busy. I hadn't crocheted in so long, I think I piled a lot up to do all at once anxious to get back at it

I am still working on the baby afghan. I might just scrap that
and make her some booties and such. I finished this for her today,
as well as the baby washcloth I post a pic of the other day.
I made the baby a Kitty Cuddle
Front: Back:
I got the idea from one of Maggies patterns. I did my own idea for the ears and for the tail.
