Wip's Wednesday.......03/04/09First Wednesday of March. Hope everyones came in like a Lion so it can go out like a lamb.. We had high winds here, hope that counts.. Just wanted to get it over with.. 
So back to the business at hand.

Big D's blanket- I keep working on it but not at the half way point yet...

Completeing a couple of orders, have put the socks away for now

I have the scarf I am knitting still unfinished. Working a little on the amulet, and am crocheting a top, which is half done.

Hi. I finished a shawl yesterday and a scarf this afternoon. I found some faux suede thread just before x-mas. I made three scarfs for gifts. I had four skeins left. My daughter-in-law;s mother had such a fit over the scarfs...sooo I started a scarf for her this afternoon. I guess I'll start some doilies to get a head start on next x-mas.

Am working on a second sock to gift to someone. I have been getting the urge back to make doilies again, too. I used to love making them for years and then for years I didn't make any. I made one last week and am starting to want to make more. But I'm just working on the sock right now. Before warm weather comes (ha ha).

I do like doing doilies too. It is usually a summer thing for me. Cause it's too hot here to do anything with yarn!

I am working on a scarf in a pretty wine color, real soft yarn with seed beads in it. It's knit, lol thanks to Kathys encouragement. I am also working on a black with silver flecks in it. The pattern is a clutch bag from the Happy Hooker book. Last is the baby set I have been working on forever but getting no where. I think this is the last time I will take an order or crochet something I don't enjoy. It's like pulling my own teeth to work on it and like I said its going no where.

You do keep yourself busy... I always want to do a doily.

 Hi! yes I do manage to keep busy. Crocheting does relax me. I found this pattern in Crochet World for a rud and matching doily set. I thought it would make a nice x-mas present for sister,etc. I really love to do pineapple doilies. They work up easily and are elegant lookingand fit in everywhere.
