WIP's Wednesday.....03/11/09Another Wednesday is here. 5 weeks til Easter..
So what is everybody working on this week?
Me- same ol, same ol'..
Big D's blanket - getting bored and not giving up.
Socks - Good news , a new pair- This time for Hubbie
Dishcloths- Thought I would start this months earlier..

Hi! I finished two projects and am working on a scarf for my daughter-in-law's mother.She was so excited over a scarf I made at x-mas I decided to make her one. My grandson who is 12 has asked me to make him a pillow. He is facinated by watching me crochet and my needles. I want to start a rug and doily set next. Can you mention book titles and magazines on this site? Some you can not!

Still working on the knitted baby blanket.
I hate to say it but I think I am going to have to pull it out 
It is turning out to be way to wide for a baby.
I'm not good at figuring out what the multiples are in a pattern
so I am going it one sticth at a time trying to make it smaller in width

Yes, you can say what books, patterns etc you are using here. You can link to a pattern on another website or forum too.

Sorry that your blanket is turning out so big.. Bummer.
Well look at it and see how many repeat you have measure and minus a couple repeats or more..

I am still working on that baby set. I have set my mind that its the only thing I am allowed to touch until its done. My goal is to have it finished by Friday. I have most of the dress done. I have to make the sleeves, the bonnet and booties.

I got it, I figured out how many CO's and it is turning out
to be a much better width for baby  I have 18 rows done today,
so far.
I am going to stay up late tonight and see how many more I can get done.

Of all the baby blankets I made for my Grandchildren I only made a few small. I tried to make them the size of the crib. They used them for years. They are now packed away till they are older. I used to have a problem with multiples. I started to work a swatch and measure. For the most part it worked pretty well. I hope the blanket is going well.

I haven't been able to get on here til now. I am working on a pair of socks.
For our six year old son. I want to make a pair for each of them.
Started one dishsoap dress/dishcloth (in June '08 Crochet World); didn't have enough yarn to finish it. Went to Walmart and they didn't have it (this Walmart doesn't have much at all). Started another one, same thing. One row left to do in the main color. Ugh. I am putting them away til I get more to finish them and I'm not even going to finish them. I shoulda just finished the other sock.

With all the sock patterns you have started you would have done more then Tina and I put together..

It is 'wildfoote' in the 'master grey' colourway. I got it at an LYS in Traverse City, MI a few years ago when we lived in Michigan. We used to go up north and would go to Traverse City and get cherries, walk on the shore of the lake... It was fun.

I am working on the crochet top. I am shaping the shoulder and arm for the second side, then the sleeves. It is working up well, just I am slow! LOL!
