Yarn ReviewsHi All! With the myriad of choices for yarns out there, it is sometimes hard to choose whether to buy certain yarns with confidence if you have never used them.I propose a CrochetMania Yarn Review drive. If you have used yarns that are new to you, please review them in this section and let us Maniacs know all about it. If someone else has reviewed the same yarn, add in that thread your experience so we have more than one viewpoint! I posted a couple like this one: http://crochetmania.myfastforum.org/about4786.html I know I am hesitant about online sources without some idea of what I am getting. Does it split? How does it handled being washed? Do you wash it in the machine? What is the hand like? What did you make with it? Would you use it again? Is that yarn at the LYS worth the price? Does the big box store brand work well? What fibers are the newest thing? Are they everything they advertise? I suggest to start your topic title off with the Yarn you are reviewing and then let us know all about it! This will be a fun way to get to know about other yarns and your experiences with them. |
