Your square is great but it reminds of something they use for sailing but I can't think of the name.

would you be thinking of Mariner's Compass?
I think it looks like seeds of friendship but I love the name Grandma's fine china.
The square is wonderful.

Well guys, I am still debating the name. Some one told me that it looks
more like a Dreamcatcher. I am seriously considering that because
I think it does look a lot like one to.....a lot more than China dishes.
I know there are dreamcathers out there, and how could I name this
one the same, but different some how?

Lisa, I haven't written up a pattern yet (have half of it written only so far).

I am wanting to design a dozen squares and work them into a book somehow to sell.
This I am still learning on how all of that works. I have since tweeked the pattern a tad
to get the clusters to pop more so I will have to re write that......is part of what I had written out already.

Is there somewhere online that teaches you how to write up a pattern?
I have more trouble with that part than anything else it seems. I never can get the knack of.
I can always crochet up the piece quicker than I can write it up.

Can you see the dreamcatcher look in it?

I think Seeds of Friendship is a GREAT one!!!! I don't see the Dreamcatcher in it personally. and Grandma's china works wonderfully since that was your first instinct.

I love this! Can't wait to see what else you come up with. Need any testers????? heheheh

Here is a pic with an added yo dc in the second round of clusters.
Not sure if it looks better or not. It does pop up more and makes it look like a small dish (saucer) in the center

I will try and get a pattern written up this week and post it for testers..........see what you guys think

I am into easy but pretty at the same time..........
so is my patterns (easy) leaning to intermediate.

How about Grandma's dreamcatcher? Since it reminded you of your Grandma.

I still like Grandmas China This doesn't look like a dreamcatcher to me it's not as open as a real dreamcatcher is. Plus I haven't seen a Grandmas China square but have seen a dreamcatcher square so the name is fresh But it is your square

Thanks Lisa, I had a lot of fun designing these. I have
been sick, then busy with an afghan I am making for a friend,
and I have a few baby blankets (some squares to join) to get done.
I think I can finally be able to get onto the baby blankets this weekend.

I want to try working up a kitty in my next one
