Oh yea,
Do this to your square.....................
in both b Rnds,
push them in (to the back)
in both a Rnds, pop them out forward (to the front).

You will likey
Makes it have depth and texture even more.

Yea, I have also took note of the exact same thing. I have made 3 of them now, and all with the Red Heart 4-ply Medium Worsted Weight.
I have noticed that some of Red Hearts so called, are a tad thinner and the one I made with it came out right at 1/2 to short.
I just did a round then in sc's, with the corners being this (1sc, ch2, 1sc)

here is my finished square...it is going in a comfortghan for my daughter


her comfortghan is squares left from the donations to Bindi Irwin's comfortghan and I plan on making it just a bit larger as I received six squares from a friend and my granddaughter wanted to contribute

It turned out so pretty. I like it in those colors, a lot!

I finished this up this weekend & finally got a picture downloaded.

This was a really fun pattern. I ended up using purple & burgandy. It reminds me of the Red Hatters. . .

Great Pattern Kathy. I had a lot of fun working this one up.
