Hello everyone!
We have had several Cals started, but
none of them have ever really taken off.
So, I was wondering what Cals might
interest all of you. I'm game for pretty much
anything, but only having one person in
a Cal is not that much fun!
I would love to start some crochet-alongs
that our members will enjoy. Give me your
ideas, and I'll see if we can get this ball rolling!

I've really wanted to make a Fat Bottom Bag . . . I even bought the book.
Maybe a CAL will get me off my duff & actually START it. |

I don't have the book, but I've been
coveting it for awhile. I'll try to pick it
up this weekend. Maybe we could start
it after Easter? I've seen several fat
bottom bags on blogs (and at the mall!),
so I know it's a cute pattern.
Any other ideas out there? |

I hosted a sweet pea CAL (speaking of the happy hooker book) on my board back last year, it is a pretty easy pattern.
But there are tons and tons of free patterns out there
Maybe a different shawl pattern CAL
or dishcloth CALs?
Of course Christmas ornaments are always good as well like snowflakes or angels.
Or find a fairly simple doily pattern. There's a 5 hour doily around somewhere I have made.Of course depending on how long you want it to last you could use a different doily pattern (or filet) I think I got the 5 hr doily pattern off Crochet Pattern Central.
Maybe everyone come up with a couple links then vote on the best one for a CAL? |

| I sort of like the "mystery alongs" but actually anything would be fine with me. |

| Mystery ones sound fun to me too. I do know how I am and don't know if anyone else is but I like to do smaller things like a dishclothe or ornament instead of something large. I am really really bad about starting something and if I don't get the pattern or don't like it or something I just make it a ufo. LOL Just last night I cut a bunch of the plastic bags up thinking I was going to make a tote. Well after all that work and I guess because I crochet really tight it was a bust. There is no give in the plastic so its a lost cause for me. eek I am too wordy:( |

| I would be happy to start a mystery dishcloth or ornament CAL (I've got too much on my plate to do a more involved mystery CAL right now). Does anyone have a preference, dishcloth or ornament? |
