I haven't even decided on a pattern yet. I got carried away looking

I know what you mean about the quilt patterns.
I can spend hours looking at them. The designs
people come up with are amazing!
As far as the pillow... I say start wherever
you're comfortable. No matter what you make
I'm sure it will be beautiful. I've seen some of
your other work first-hand, and it was lovely!
I had to take a break from my quilt to
make a baby blanket for a friend's little
girl. I need to have the blanket finished
by tomorrow, so I should be back to work
on my quilt this weekend. Hopefully I'll
also be able to post pictures in a few days.
I just need dh to set a few more things up
for me. I tried setting it up myself, but it
didn't work.
I still have not found anything that is jumping out at me.
Maybe cause I am working on a pullover for a gift. Must decide,
must think! Anyhoo, I haven't blown it off.

Hey ladies! I haven't forgotten about
this CAL. I hurt my wrist a couple of
weeks ago, and I won't be lifting a
crochet hook until June or July. I am
still planning on making my quilt!
Has anyone else been able to start yet?
Anyone else want to join along? You will
end up with a beautiful quilt once you're
done!
Oh man, how did you hurt your wrist? I hope you heal quickly and
with no pain, but with kids, I know how it goes.
I am in limbo right now. I have this project that I have spent weeks
on and it looks like doo doo now that I am assembling it, so I am
totally frustrated. I haven't even done my square swaps this month.
I'm rambling, sorry. I haven't decided on a pattern still.
That's my news.

I thought my wrist was sore from crocheting
too much (it's happened to me before), but
apparently that's not it. My doctor thinks I
probably tore something when I was lifting
my son up one day. They know it's not broken,
so they told me to keep a brace on it and use
it as little as possible. He also said I shouldn't
crochet for six to eight weeks because the
repetitive motion isn't good for my wrist.
Not fun, but not much I can do about it either.
I'm sorry your project isn't turning out the way
you want. That can be so irritating. Maybe taking
a break from it to work on your squares will help.
Sometimes I find I like my projects more with
some distance between us.
I was just checking on this CAL to see how everybody was doing..
Vernzap~ Sorry to hear about your wrist.. That's a long time not to be able to pick up a hook!!!!!!!! Hope it starts to feel better soon..
I have forgotten to post!!!! I am working on my squares. I am going to make one big flamingo. And not 4 small ones.
I have 2 craft shows in June and am making stuff for it. So maybe after that I will be faster!!!

I have been given the all clear to crochet again, so I am back to working on my quilt. Right now I am making one block in the colors I think I want to use. After I get my test block done I will make my final color selections and go yarn shopping.
