I won't be able to start right now, but I can't wait to get going on this later this week!

Well, I made it up to round 5 today. The pattern so far is easy to follow. However, stitch markers have been essential for me on this pattern because the single crochet is hard to see when I come back to the beginning stitch.
I am doing mine in ecru. |

I didn't work on this yesterday, I was trying to line a purse! My hand sewing skills are not the best, so I really went slow and tried to get the stiches to be even.
I chose ecru cause I thought it would show the stitches up really well. Plus, I have a table to put it on when I am done. |

Darlene, were the instructions unclear? Cause if they are I sure want to be prepared before I get there! Sorry to say, I am still at the same place I was at the other day!
Has anyone else started the doily? |

| Round 9 is clear about what to do but the stitches in the flat part of the middle are so small I couldn't distinguish even what row they were. Good luck with yours. I have gone on to something else another filet project. |

Well, I got past round 9. The way I overcame the tiny thead issue was to put stitch markers on all the places when I did the round with sc in back loops. I had to hunt for ALL my markers. It looked like a piece of jewelry! LOL!
I will work on it some today. |

| I only have a few stitch markers, so I might go out and buy more before I get to round nine! |

| I am working on it this morning. I lost count while talking to Son#1, so I am frogging. But just a few stitches at the beginning of a round of chain 3's and sc. I am upstairs so I don't know what round I am on. The piece is on the couch downstairs! |

| I have been bad, I haven't worked on the doily in a few days. But, I am still trying to get it in my crocheting schedule! Since we are not on a time frame, I have slacked off! |

| I am working on this doily. I am on round 8 so far. Mine is really bulgy though and I don't like that. I know it will flatten out when I get further along with it. I am doing mine in a bright pink! :) |

Pink does sound pretty. I'm thinking of making one in a colored thread instead of the neutral that I always use.
