UPDATE......
Note: I am going to re write this pattern to be just for the one color.
I have another one ready to post that is done in Mainstay...Autumn Red.

I think what I am going to do is 6 squares worked with K and J Hooks
for 12" measure in these types of yarn.....and each square will be done
in solid Fall colors

I have another square almost ready for testing.
This one is done with a K hook and can be done up in as
little as 15 to 20 minutes

There are only 9 Rnds.

I am trying to get up at least 6 squares
done in Autumn colors....done with J and K hooks, and RedHeart
4-ply worsted type yarns.

The J and K hooks tend to make the square soften up because the
stitches are a bit larger.

Pumpkin Pie

Rnd 1:
(Work hidden ring by the following instructions)
Ch 6, (counts as dc, ch 2 and center st) (dc in ring, ch 2) 7 times,
join in ch 4 of 1st ch 6, sl st into next ch 2 sp,
snug closed ring.
Finish off.
(8 dc, 8 ch 2 sp)
