I just mailed off two squares today, one to Libi and the other to Jodi.......hope you ladies like them......I was not able to get DC on them, as I was mailing two other envelopes today and a wish box for another group..........in total I spent 16 dollars today mailing! LOL I am going to try really hard to stay caught up with round 2 of SAM
Jodi and Libi, you'll both be getting two squares a piece as I needed to finish your other squares up from round one.

Aurora...take your time. That's why I didn't put a specific date. As long as all the squares are done by New Years' Eve...then I don't care. You don't have to send by then...just finish by then.

I got mine on Saturday, Aurora. It's perfect! Thank you so much!
I'll try to post a picture of it tomorrow. I've got to eat and get my son to football camp soon. I'll have 2 1/2 hours of crochet time while they practice. It's hot here too. I may even get a sunburn tonight??

Jodi, my husband was impressed with your second square...(the red and yellow) He wants me to make a big granny square afghan in those colors for him. He graduated from USC. So the Cardinal and Gold are the colors we most have at home...his brother is another who graduated from there, so Hans want's me to do the pattern in opposite colors from the one I did for you.
Libi, yours will be finished tomorrow. You're getting one of each color...one orange and one green.

I have a rather odd question to ask.....
Have I sent anyone their second squares yet? To be honest I've been sidetracked with the kids being home and have totally lost track of things.

I've only received one yellow & red one from Aurora.
I haven't received one from you yet, Lisa.

Thanks!
Our colors are actually scarlet and gold, but red and yellow works. The brighter the better for the high school kids.
Did you see my spiral afghan that I did in the red and yellow? It turned out really good. It's an easy pattern too. Once you get the first 4 rows going, it goes along very easy.

Wow! That was fast!
I'm glad you like them. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
Hubby took the boys to Wenatchee this morning and I stayed home in case of any family issues here. I also needed to stay with our dogs. I went and picked up Chinese food for dinner for myself. So yummy!!

I have mailed off gwenyvarrs square today, DC # 0304 3490 0000 0323 7215 I hope this is the right number, my father actually mailed this with a package and he is the one who wrote the addresses on the DC receipt, so hopefully he did not confuse them.
