Jodi, I got yours at the beginning of this week and I loved them. Your squares went off two days ago so hopefully you should be getting them soon.
I'm glad you got them ok and happy you like them.
I'll be watching the mail for mine. Thanks!

I have a rather odd question to ask.....
Have I sent anyone their second squares yet? To be honest I've been sidetracked with the kids being home and have totally lost track of things.
Just to let you know...that's why I didn't put a limit on when to send them until the end of the year because I know how busy life gets.

Hey, Shannan!
I got my squares, Monday. They are very pretty and should go great when I start putting my afghans together.
Thanks so much!

I'm hoping that after the Olympics and school starting that I can get back to this swap. I've been a little occupied with the Olympic challenge, football practices and school getting ready to begin next week. I also had to go back to work this week :( It's been busy here.

It would be nice to see what you gals do with your squares? Mine are sitting patiently in the 'puter room with the look, "Well????"

Are we still doing this swap? I know I have been terribly bad about posting and stuff...I know I got out the squares for June and July, but have gotten none myself, but of course after July, I got sidetracked and didn't send off anymore.
I was wondering the same thing this weekend. Now that my Christmas crocheting is caught up, I was checking my list. I've sent out quite a few and only received 2 or 3 I think.

Well I am going to get started on squares just in case.........I am so feeling really bad, but don't feel as bad knowing I got none............I know I think I did get one......but can't find my darn notes!!!! LOL
Well, I was looking and from what I can tell not a lot of squares have been sent in this swap, a lot us (myself included) got caught up in life and let this go to the wayside.
Here's what I have so far....
ColyakCrocheter sent to me and to Gwenyvarr
Dragonflymom has sent to Libi, Jodi and Gwenyvarr
Gwenyvarr has sent to Libi and Jodi
So it looks like I have some work to do!! Better get busy huh?
I know there is a deadline of Dec 31st on this and that's likely why this got away from us, it was too far away. So how about we say the remaining squares should be sent and received by the end of January? That gives us all a month to complete this?
I'd better get busy............

That sounds good to me, and I have my notes.......not my original notes though. I will more-in-likely find them when I am not looking for them. LOL Anyway will get working on them and get them mailed off in the month of January.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and I will look around the board later today.
I've got my list out again and here's what I show I have done:
Sent out:
June - to Libilou
July - to Dragonflymom and Gwenyvarr
August - to Jchllm
October - to Jchllm and Gwenyvarr
I'll have to check my received ones later today. They are in a box with some others. I didn't have them all marked down on my list though.
I may not have posted that I'd sent these all out, but I did keep my sent list current. Please let me know if someone didn't receive what I've sent out.

Are we still going to do the Nov. and Dec. squares?
I only ask, because we're so behind on this swap and it doesn't look like all of us that started it are still in it.
I can do them, but I probably won't have them done this month.

I would say to go ahead and forget about the Nov and Dec squares. They were seasonal ones anyway and we've passed those seasons!

That's my vote too, under the circumstances.
