Would anyone like to join me in making a Seraphina Shawl??
I will start the CAL on March 25. That way you have time in case you want to order some yarn. Started already!!!
This is such fun and fast pattern and you can use any yarn. From a lightweight Cotton to a bulky Homespun..
I might try either Jo-Ann ~ Sensations Rainbow Boucle ( I have some blue sitting on the shelf)or maybe a Lustersheen for summer.

Seraphina’s Shawl quick reference
Sequence 1 Dc in ch 1 – Dc nxt 2 dc – (dc, ch 1 dc) in next dc – (shell start) dc each of next 3 dc At point – dc nxt 3 dc – (dc ch 1 dc) nxt dc – dc nxt 2 dc – dc ch 1 sp
Sequence 2 DC in ch sp - Dc nxt 3 dc - ch 1, skip nxt dc – (dc ch 2 dc) in V– dc nxt 3 dc At Point – dc nxt 3 dc, ch 1 – (dc ch 2 dc) in V – dc nxt 3 dc, dc in ch 1
Sequence 3 Dc ch 1 sp – dc nxt 4 ch 1 – (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in V – ch 1 dc in nxt 3 dc At point – Dc in nxt 3 dc ch 1 – (2 dc ch 1 2 dc) in V – dc nxt 4 dc – dc ch 1 sp

I think lustersheen would be great!!! I am most probably going to do a knit along with mine. (That's what my girl Short Stuff Lil bit calls it when you use a thread along with your yarn.) |

I keep buying Joann's Rainbow Boucle on sale . . .
and I've had this pattern earmarked for YEARS . . .
I'm in . . . I just need to decide if I want to make it in pink, blue, brown, or burgundy . . . . however . . .
I also have a bunch of Lustersheen I bought on sale in red, blue, black, white, or varigated . . . and I do live in FL. . .
Ugh, good thing I've got a couple of weeks to decide what to use, uh? |

I guess I need to go to JoAnn's, Michaels and maybe even Craft Warehouse to see what I want to use for my shawl this weekend.
I love to have an actual reason to go buy more yarn!
