Very pretty,Kathy!!

I'm going to be visiting the frog pond today .
Noticed that I have an extra stitch on one side of the increases. So I have 2 rows to frog..

It is a pretty rose color isn't it?

I just love all of the ones you guys have made and posted, the yarns are so pretty!

I know that I will probably be making me a second one now

Hubby likes how this shawl looks....now is a good time to get
him to let me buy some of that perty yarn like you all have made yours

Oh, that is beautiful!!  What a coincidence - I just bought Lion Brand Pound of Love in Pastel Pink today!!  I also got Rainbow Boucle' in Red. It wasn't on sale at the Jo Ann's I went to.
Also, I saw where someone posted on Crochetville that somebody finally got in touch with Doni, and she gave her permission to share re-writes of her pattern!! That's great news.

Thanks Shelle

I too emailed Doni a couple of days ago,
and again today at her other email address to ask her if we could
have permission to do the same thing here.

I will let you know when I hear back from her. It would be great
if she said that we could

Keep your fingers crossed

Thanks, Tara.
I was thinking it was me.  I think I need to get rid of this headache I've had for a few days and get my brain into gear.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger Jodi . . . I seem to be frogging as much as I crochet forward.

I have to really watch the increases or I mess them up, and somehow I don't catch them until a couple rows later.

That, on top of using yarn NOT designed for frogging . . . well, let's say  it's been a tad bit more colorful in the language department at my house lately.

Man . . . I feel like I'm in dancing with this blasted thing.  Two steps forward / two steps back. . .

I've just about come to the conclusion that I cannot watch TV and work on this at the same time.  I keep messing up the point . . . I either forget to dc in the ch1 space, or I skip a dc right before that.  I'm doing fine with the increases at the ends . . . it's just at the point that I keep messing up.

The frustrating part is, this would be finished by now if I wasn't frogging all my progress. . . I'll try to get a picture of my progress this weekend.

Hang in there!  (((this advice comes to you from someone who hasn't picked hers up in 2 days now)))

I kind of think the TV is a distraction for me too, until I get the pattern figured out.

We need to have a 'Frustrated Seraphina Shawl Group'.  What do you think?

If I mess up that's where it is. If I don't have more then 4 stitches I end up frogging back to add the increase. Might just have to use stitchmarkers on each side of the center point.

How about putting a little safety pin at the point (on front and back) to remind you to do the dc in the ch-1 sp? Then, every few rows move it down.
Also, I noticed mine was quite bumpy and not laying flat, so I started another one and instead of making the shells with 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc, I did 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc.  That's working better for me. Just thought I'd mention it in case you're having the same problem. Here are some pics. It's yarn I found at Big Lots for $1 per skein! It's really nice yarn - it's similar to LB Microspun but it doesn't separate like Microspun does. btw - Big Lots has a lot of LB yarn now. I bought 12 skeins of Moonlight Mohair for $1.50 each, and it sells for $8.99 at Jo Ann's!
