I have done 10 rows so far, but now I don't like this yarn I choose.
What yarns are you using Lisa? And you Miss Kitty?

I want one that I can wash and dry and one that will fluff out a little
so it won't have so many open holes for drafts.

I have no idea what to get.

Well, I started one a while back that needs to be finished, but I don't know that I can get to it for a while. I would love to get 'er done though.

I'm going to go with either LB Homespun in red or Sensations Rainbow Boucle in blue...I think that is the only bulk yarn I have in my stash..
Don't think I have enough bulk wool..Oh I'll have to look and see what I have. But I do know that I have the blue and the red.
After I get my mini Christmas Stocking done I'll start on it today..

I put the one down that I am working on for now. I just wanted to practice and see how the pattern went before I bought my yarn
for the shawler.

I am going online to order it tonight with my gift card I got from Silkfair.com.

And some Cotton Tot's for baby washcloths. The gift card came in very
handy at just the right time

Tried the Sensations Rainbow Boucle and went yuk..
Tried the LB Homespun and went yewwww... So I'm going to finish up my Christmas things befroe I try again.

I went to Hobby Lobby on Sat. I spent all of the $55.00 rebate card and had to add to it.......

I was a bad girl..
But I have enough to make DD afghan and a couple more Ice scrapper mitts and Lots more mini Stockings.....
Stopped at Wal-Mart on the way home and I found Ice Scrappers which I thought said 97cents( I thought great price, $1.00) but when I checked out they were 10 cents!!!

Going to make more to send up North.. The manger at Hobby Lobby wants one too..

OK everyone, I guess this CAL id a bust.

Everyone appears to be busy right now and onto other projects.

Maybe later on in the year we can get back in here to do this one.

I too have been bombarded here of late with orders and a comfortghan and a project for one of my sons that I am going to have to get onto sooner rather than later kind of puts me out as well on doing this one right now.

Maybe we can CAL a shawler together in the summer

Just thought I'd jump in here if ya'll don't mind. I want to make myself a new one, so I'll join ya when you all get ready.
Thought I'd mention, you don't have to use bulky yarn if you would prefer to use ww. I made one in LB Wool-ease ww. (the grey one). Some people have also used reg. RH variegated with good results. I have a Customer Gallery on my Blog if you want to see pics.
