| Kathy I am having a fit with this one. It's too hard for me I think and not working out. I may have to do the sock one instead. It's really pretty though. |

Here you go Phoenix, maybe this can help, it's really easy once you get
it in your mind that the last dc on the ends are in the ch groups.
PICS.....
click on pics to enlarge...then click in right hand corner
on the little icon to enlarge bigger.....
Right side with no decrease,
this side will eventually end up at the top right corner of the shawl:
Alternate row decreases,
this side is what makes the neck of the shawl:
Here is a view of the neck side (alt row decrease) set at a horizontal view:
__________________________________________________
Here is end of row 2...
pic #2
Do a ch 2, dc in the top of the chain group on the end (top of the dc ch 3)
not in the sc side point of the diamond but in the ch just next to that.
clickable:
Turn now and work row three...
At the end of row three will be the first decrease
Next, do a tr in the top of the chain group just above the diamond, left of the
diamond point (top of the dc ch 3) not in the sc point of diamond,
but in the ch just next to that.
Turn and work back accross, repeating row's 2 and 3

| I was gonna do mine like that with two strands. I need a shawl that will fit an adult. So well see how it works. |

The pattern calls for a bulkier yarn and an L-hook.
I wonder if we do two strands and the L-hook if we would get the
gauge more to the actual pattern size
|
Yep, that would work..
