I started on my pair of socks last night and I finished 37 rounds
so far

I love how these colors in the sock yarn are doing,
it is so pretty how it looks.

Toasted Almond Crunch Socks is the pattern I am working on.
It being my first pair, it read very easy and clear to understand

Pretty!!!
I changed my mind on the yarn again.

Found some KP Dancing in my stash. It's 41% cotton, 30% wool, 13% nylon, 7% elastic.
They are going to be some bright colorfull socks!! I have a few rows left to do then I'll be finished with the cuff..

I have started over, it was coming out a little bit to tight on
my big foot

I am a bit more fond of the anklet type socks anywho

Yea, I finished the cuff. Just working on them for 1/2 hour at night when I take my neb..
I'll add a picture in a bit when I change over to the big computer..
Next pair is going to be grey/brown with beads..
Pick up some beads when we stopped at HB yesterday.. I needed more bobbins for Big D's afghan..

don't know where all my bobbins are...

Miss Kitty, that is one type of crochet that I have never done before but always wanted to.

No one has ever shown me how, nor have I ever learned this one.
I hear you speak of bobbins and such. What are they for? How does it work?

I might want to tackle one of these kind of patterns this summer.
I saw a couple of ghans I would like to do up for my boys.

Ahhhh, OK,
So what I actually do is wind the colors around the bobbins and use them at the stitch called for
and then lock and drop them and continue back in the main running color?

Yep.
It's easier then using just another skien..

I get the bobbins tangled up hate to think what I would do with the skeins..

I had 27 bobbins at one time across the back.

I haven't worked on mine in a couple of days but have plans
to park it in front of the boob tube tonight and get some more
rounds worked.
I pulled my sock out twice, not liking the one pattern that I was doing.
I started on another pattern and it seems to be making the sock
feel a lot softer to the bottom of the foot and not so umcomfortable.

The basic sc around and around in the other pattern
left ridges that didn't feel so good on the bottom of my foot.

Measured my sock and I have 1/2 inch to go then the heel...
Didn't work on anything yesterday. By time DGS's basketball games were over, wejust had enough time to get ready to go out to dinner.
