Okay, I'm at the heel..

I don't really like doing the sl1 wyif,k1. So, ripped

it out and tried sl1, k1, p1.. So, I'm now I'm going to go rip

that out ,then going back to the sl1 wyif, k1..

Guess I like the way it looks better..

I pulled my socks out AGAIN! I just don't like how they are feeling in the crochet. I haven't found a pattern yet that makes the stitches on the
bottom of the foot feel comfy.
Hubby brought me home from Hobby Lobby 4 sets of dpn's in sizes...
2, 3 and 4. I have been piddleing around with a couple of knit patterns
but they are just not written clear enough for me (the beginner, LOL)
to understand. They seem incomplete in their instruction for the beginner.
They say for the beginner but you know how that goes

I go to
YouTube to see if that can help, but everyone does the same thing in
umpteen different ways that it gets confussing.

I WANT TO DO A PAIR OF SOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to go do dishes and clean up the kitchen and work on Big D's blanket..

I finished the heel and making my way down to the toes....

Going better now that I don't have end of 1 row k2tog and the beginning of the next row ssk..

I still am working on my first sock

I am redoing the heel

I goofed on the stitch count,
somehow I had an extra st on my needle. I think it was how
I turned from one needle to the next and had the working yarn
wrapped around it wrong.
I had my sock worked down to doing the foot, but when I sorted
the correct number of stitches out over the 3 needles, I had a long
strand of yarn running across unberneath then and haven't a clue
as to how that happened.

Shhhhheeeeeeewww, just to make ONE sock

I don't know, It showed up right at the end when I finished turning the heel and I saw it when I placed the loops around as told to for new count on each needle getting ready for the foot. I pulled out to that point and still couldn't see what was making it turn out that way.

I'm planning for my next pair of socks.. The pattern that I used for the ones I'm working on now are lose fitting. So next ones I'm going to add elastic thread on every knit stitch in the cuff.. See if that helps..

Wow Kathy that looks awesome! I bow down to you:) I tried the double pointed needles and failed and tried two circulars and failed. I think you are wonderful for this accomplishment:)
