Great Job, Kathy!!!
I didn't even pick up my socks over the weekend..
I did do a few rows on Big D's afghan waiting for hubbie to come home from work on Saturday.
We went to Barnes and Noble ( I could spend all day there) i picked up a knitting book called "The Knitting Directory" by Alison Jenkinsfor $5.00 and couple of cookbooks.. Hubbie was waiting to leave....I kept saying oh look. he kept saying next time.
Then we went to Texas Land and Cattle for dinner.. I think he was just hungry.
Today we went out and about again to day and got me a glider-swivel recliner.. So had to change thing around I the livingroom.. |

Okay, for my second pair of socks. I'm working on a pair of Magic Loop, two -at-once, toe-up sock. Working the foot part.. My just have to go to KnitPicks and order some more fixed small size 40" cable needles. I like doing it this way...
My 3rd pair taking a class for crocheted two-at-a-time, toe-up sock.
Have to find my ball winder and start working on my swatch.. See how this works.
I will let you know.. |

Hey, Miss Kitty~ is that a Broncos afghan you are working on? Our six year old LOVES the broncos~~ We don't even watch any games. Someone gave him a Broncos t-shirt when we lived in Colorado; and whenever we'd see anything Broncos he would get all excited, 'Look, Mom. Broncos!' :P
I thought you were crocheting socks, Kathy but it looks like you have it figured out knitting. I like that color you are using! I should join this C/KAL, eh; with all the socks I have been doing... I haven't worked on mine for a few days though. Endless ribbing.... I am halfway done with it, though; then the fun begins...

I have been working on dishcloths, too. And hotpads. I had to frog everything I did on my second sock. I was knitting along yesterday, and got to a place where there should have been a second purl and it was a knit. Looked inside, and I must have dropped a stitch a few rows back. I couldn't even save it and was so disgusted I ripped it all out. I didn't feel like going back, stitch by stitch, to the spot where I messed up. So I got my 'magic ball' of yarn and made two hotpads then I made a dishcloth. I hope I don't get burned out from making socks. Maybe I just need a break for a while. Til I get sick of dishcloths?
