Hi guys I am asking for prayers for my husband, Billy. He has cellulitis in his leg from a spider bite and is on 3 different antibiotics. He went to the doctor again today and is getting better. He can't hardly walk on it. He will be out of work this week and at least Monday too. Please pray for him and our finances too. It's hard sometimes especially since he has no sick time. Thank you.

Spider bites can make nasty little infections.

Was it a brown reclus? They are nasty little spiders. We have a friend that got a bite from one and the poison really put a hole in her leg for a long time.

Thanks Jodi. I appreciate it. I don't know for sure what type of spider it was. That is what the doctor said. He has a lump under the skin the size of a lemon and an open area about 2 inches across. I hope it don't open up more than that. Hugs:)

Hi Peggy! you both will be in my prayers. Not having sick time is bad news. Been there done that. Be careful and make him keep the leg elevated. My former roommate was bitten by a brown recus. She foolishly kept working and ended up gong thru several courses of ABT. She ended up having it surgically removed. Ihope he does well and begins to feel better soon. Maxine

So Peggy- how is Billy's leg today? What meds does the doctor have him on if any? The microwave- just when you think you don't really use the darn thing, you realize exactly how much you DO use it when it goes out. My teapot wore out and I haven't gotten a new one to boil water in. Didn't realize how much I used that either until I didn't have one!

Hi Selena:) He is getting better because he is getting grouchy lol. Thanks for asking. His leg looks a whole lot better. At the doc on Tuesday they gave him another rocephin injection and he is on sulfa and keflex here at the house. Oh I do hate when men are sick they are such babies.
Yes the microwave. Idon't use it too much but Rachel thinks its a totally vital organ to life lol. We got it at walmart about a year ago and are going to try to take it back there. Fingers crossed. Thank you for asking.
I would miss my tea pot too so much now that the microwave is out:)

Don't waste a trip back to WalMart Peggy, they won't take it back for an exchange unless it is under a 30 day time from purchase.
30 days out is their policy and I think on a few things (just a very few) is 3 months.

Glad to hear that hubby is doing much better, Grouchy is always a good sign
