I just finished this up today.  I haven't felt like crocheting much since my Grandma died.  I wanted something to crochet but didn't know what. Then I thought, 'A shawl'.  It's comforting, somehow...

I made a second one, in 'Frosty Green' (Red Heart Super Saver):

What a beautiful shawl!  And your neighborhood is beautiful!  I do miss that country.

I'm sending you hugs and best thoughts.

Thank you, everyone.

I like this neighborhood, too. My husband wants to move (to buy a house).  We could buy this one, but they want *way* too much for it.

Thanks, Kathy.

I started another shawl, in 'frosty green' (more of a sage green, if you ask me).  I recently got a brown skirt and wanted a 'color' to wear with it or with a jean skirt....   They work up so fast.

Thank you, Serena.

I forgot to mention in my first post, my husband said 'You look like a thunderbird in that picture'     (When we first met, he had an '84 Thunderbird...)

Thanks. I got at least six inches cut off. I do this about every three or four years.

I finished another shawl today.  I added the picture to the first post.  This will probably be the last one I do. (For a while anyway, til I think of a new color I need. :P)
