If you'd like to come to the Ice Cream Social and Swap,
please sign up in this thread!
(I'm brand new to this, so if something isn't clear, please let me know.)
Ice Cream Social Day is July 11th, Saturday
Time: Noon
Treats: Plan now, and let us all know what you'll be having!
Activities: Opening your packages and eating treats,
Posting Thank-You's, posting treat news, and having fun!!!
Swap theme is Ice Cream.
To send: Ice Cream Colors of crochet or knitting supplies & something simple that you've made. Examples: summer scarf, dishcloths, coasters, etc.
Note: Suggested maximum worth of supplies: $20. No minimum. Just so no one spends too much! 
Sign-Ups are now closed.
Participants are TXCL, Suzee, and Serena.

Hey, I'm in!
Just some ideas- Worsted Cotton in vanilla, peach, red velvet cake(wine) or pistachio green. Size 10 thread in orange sherbet, snow cone turquoise.
Knitting stitch markers for size 6 to 8 needles.
Flavored tea- mint, lemon, raspberry.
Coasters in cream cheese icing, lavender flowers, mint
Pie, cookies, ice cream!
Parasol! Hand Fan! Lace hankie!
I think somebody could figure out my descriptions, I wanted them to be reminiscent of old fashioned ice cream socials! |

If swapping supplies seems too much expense, I'm game for sending simple things we make and letters.
I know that not everyone has enough supplies in her stash to send a package.

| I like both the idea of sending yarns in ice cream colors, and little crocheted or knitted ice cream social themed items. Just my opinion. |

Today is the First Day of Summer, and it's Father's Day, and...
It is Sign Up for the Ice Cream Social Swap Day!
I'm looking forward to:
Making something for a surprise
Writing Ice Cream Social notes
Sending ice cream colors of supplies
Checking my mailbox
Opening a package on July 11th, along with
Drinking iced tea, and having custard or ice cream
Posting on the board!
and enjoying it all!

This sounds like SO MUCH fun. But i don't think I should sign up. Don't have extra money right now. Gotta buy math curriculum and baby stuff (new car seat and camera since ours is about ready to croak) have fun ladies. :)
