| They are lovely. My mother and grandmother used to make the most beautiful pot holders. Now, Annie's Attic has some beautiful potholder pattern books. |

| I would be interested for August! I like the picasso one and the rocky mountain one. My garndmother made potholders from thread. I have one I saved. I'll take a pic and show it! |

I went and got these from my cedar chest. Looks like I need to do some cleaning. They have some dark stains on them.

TXCL, those are beautiful.
I have used cotton swabs dipped in hydrogen peroxide to get stains out.
The cedar chest is great for woolens, but the cedar will cause cotton to disintegrate. My mother works a great deal with quilt history and such. They always recommend storing vintage cottons in a cotton pillowcase on a shelf in a dry closet.
I used to keep some vintage cotton things in a cedar chest, and they did fall apart.
How lovely to have your grandmother's potholders! |

July is going by. What would you all thing about Potholders in August?
Either utilitarian or decorative.
What do you think? |

Suzee, I'm glad you were able to get on. It's great to have you here. Oh, comcast, yep....
Hope some others are feeling potholder-y.
