The first Wednesday of a new month.. It looked like everybody was starting to get busy last week..
So whatcha doin this week????

Me:
Everything is on the back burner this week for me.
We were going to make a trip up to NM for a green chili run Labor day weekend. But I won't be able to do it.. So Hubbie is going with either DD or DGS.
But anywhoo, I told MIL that I would make her a shawl so working on that so Hubbie can bring it with him. Making a Seraphina out of RH LusterSheen in Natural. I used 1 skein so far. But to small..
Here is a picture of Leah's Throw as of yesterday.

This one is fun knitting but I'm going to need more yarn then it calls for.. and my squares are smaller by about a half inch.
Zebra socks I did pick them up and added a few rows on it this week...

I have picked out the potholder pattern. I made a sample. Daughter-in-law was tickled to get the tester. I have worked a little on knitting the poncho. My stitches look good, but I am slow. I am working on mobius for my sister for her b-day. Must go to michaels and hobby lobby. I have so much stuff planned for x-mas and birthdays.  And the charity stuff. Want to have plenty of thread.

Miss Kitty someone on one of my KAL groups on Ravelry is making that same afghan (but out of scraps)~ I love it!

Me, still the same as last week; sock and shrug...  finished a dishcloth.  I actually did one row on my Central Park Hoodie sleeves the other night. I have so many patterns I want to start, but I can't even finish the ones I have.  (Sigh).

No overtime this week anamorxsis?!    Yay!  I know it helps when the check comes in, if you're not so tired from working so much...

Goodness, how did it get to be WIPS Wed. already?

Miss Kitty, that throw is beautiful.

Anoramaxsis, sounds as tho' you're up to whole lots!

MwaM, yeah for new dishcloths!  Have you got your WIPs bags packed?

I did a few rows on the potholders I'm working on.  The other projects haven't seen me for a few days.

No overtime.I had worked too much over three weeks. I refused to work this week. I was so tired. I was working70+ hours a week. I work today. I just want to sit and crochet. I have to really crochet steady for the things I have planned.

70+ hours- that is too much!  No wonder you want to just sit for a while.
I am working on potholder and charity squares.  Also am going to finish that scarf this week, I mean it!  Got the pattern written down for the bath cuffs and revised it a little, and did a test project. So now need to type it up in a  PDF file. I think I am going to tackle knitting some socks. I got a book from the library called 2-At-A-Time Socks by Melissa Morgan Oakes.  I have skimmed some pages, of course, I will have to go to YouTube to see it done before I can get the hang of it.

Anoramaxsis,  I'm glad you've got some sitting time.  That's quite a schedule.

TXCL, that's a large list of new projects!  I like to watch videos for new stitch patterns and how-to's, as well. I find it does make something new much easier.

Finished the potholder for the swap for Suzee.  I've got to do something about the one for my mother as my two sides didn't come out evenly.   I've either got to make two more to match, or frog one of them.

Found a couple of WIPs I'd forgotten about, when I finally found a bag of cotton yarn I'd been needing.  I've definitely got enough projects to last a few years.

Isn't youtube wonderful? When you need to see stitches or review something it is to great. It seemed strange to work only 8 hrs. I live about 16 miles from the Atlanta Motor Speedway....there is a motorcycle to do there this week. I didnot know. OMG! Getting home from work was a nightmare. I have a lot planned.

I am knitting a pair right now, Chris. Although I won't have computer access, for I don't know how long. But I would join an any sock kal.

Good luck with the socks. I am making progress, but I am not ready for socks. My hat is off to those experienced enough to do them.
