I am pretty sure theywork them pretty hard in Rehab, so at least he won't get worse.
My mom passed back in 2000. She was 80.

I am sorry about your mom, TXCL. 
My Uncle (who is my Dad's twin) has been emailing me, and I have been calling my stepmom to get updates. He's slowly coming out of the fog. He keeps cussing (swearing) at the nurses, and keeps asking for a cigarette.  The nurse practicioner said he HAS to quit drinking and smoking. His arteries are shot. I know as soon as he gets out of the hospital he is going to go back to doing both. 
Sorry to clog up this thread with stuff about my Dad. Maybe I should open a new thread... :P
I did start my second sock. I am about three inches into the ribbing, so far. Now that I am home, I can work on other things; though. That's where I have a problem... tee heeee

I think my camera is done for. I don't trust it any more with any nice pictures, that's for sure. :( So, I don't think I will be able to post any more pictures of my socks... (Unless I use my phone.)
Also, we aren't going to have internet for a while.

No, we are 'downsizing' our bills.... My husband wants to get rid of the internet and some other things (besides moving~~ sigh~~ again... which I think is actually a good idea, we are paying way too much here...) We'll see what happens...

| You know until this past January I worked,crocheted, and enjoyed my grandchildren. After the wreck and Mike put the laptop in front of me. I have a whole new world and I like it. I can't imagine life without the internet. I love it! |

I finished the sport peds for DD and started a cable pair of socks.
Still working on my "with a twist" haven't been working on them much.

Glad to see you are back home, Miss Kitty!
I told my husband tonight that I can't live without the internet. It would suck what little fun I have left in life out of me. We are going to try and go with a cheaper ISP though, AOL is ridiculous... So, I will be around for a while!  Now if I can just get my camera to work...

Guess what? My husband changes his mind more than a woman!!  He said we aren't going to have internet, after all. I will try to go to the library and get on here, though. Even though I might not be able to post pictures.
My son has a laptop, too. The hard part is finding WiFi in this small town...
I am on the gussett (sp?) part of my second sock. The part where you decrease to get to the tube part of the foot.  I'm excited I am this far already (I get second sock syndrome a lot...). Or else maybe I am getting my sock knitting Mo-Jo back...

Here are the Hugs and Kisses socks I'm working on.
One the top sock you can kinda see the O on the top and the bottom of the top sock is the X. I'm half way though the chart on the first repeat.
They have
O---||---X
X---||---O so I need to do the Kiss under the Hug and the hug under the Kiss to finish the 1st repeat.
