passiongirl, look for the Continental method of knitting. I can do it enough to show people how to do it... just the same as the English method except yarn is in left hand & left hand does the work rather than the right hand. You place your needles the same bring the yarn over the same except from the left rather than the right.
This method is easier for people that crochet a lot and like you left handed people. I have a book A to Z of Knitting that shows all the different things so well. I use it in my classes but NEVER loan it out well ya know how that goes so many times. If you know someone that knits that you can watch them, the placement of the needles and how the yarn goes then do the same thing but with your left hand.
You can do it! have a good day
Thank you Miss Kitty I knew someone would have a site to help her better. I keep practicing the Continental just so I won't be so ackward when showing someone how to do it have a good day all.....
