Hi all!
Sorry for not being around lately. Hubby and I have been having some major problems lately and sure could use your prayers for our marriage and healing.
I was amazed at how much grief I experienced when my youngest left for college in September. I thought the empty nest thing was just a myth. I thought I'd enjoy having less laundry, etc. I was wrong on that one. Anyway, I could use your prayers.

Tamking, you're in my prayers and am sending you dear thoughts.

Tamking, You are in my thoughts and prayers in every way. My husband
and I went through rough patches years ago and saw a counselor which
helped as far as our opening up to each other and sharing our feelings.
I also learned that there are times when you have to "agree to disagree"
walk away till you cool off. That was difficult for me because I aways
wanted everything resolved immediately!! But I am still growing and
learning. Know that it will take time to heal the wounds of your marriage
and the empty nest syndrome. Once again I will keep you in mind and
pray for you and your husband.

Oh Tammy, I feel for you. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers and thoughts. If you need to vent this is a really good place, there are people here who have sent their kids off into the world so they will be able to commiserate and offer advice.

this is always a hard time for us Moms. It is never easy when they grow up and leave home but it always has to be.
I know it's hard to think things will settle out and feel right again, but they will, trust me.

Hang in there honey, it will get easier real soon

And You and hubby stay the course, sometimes the road can get rather rough, but it will always smooth back out

I never had that empty nest syndrome. Our kids just keep coming back.lol
I now have DS living with us.
I guess I like my time alone. Not having other people around for awhile.
But on the weekends there is no just me time. I like Mondays..

Hubbie and I have been together for 16 years now and we never have had a fight. Never argued.

Thank you ladies for your prayers. Things are not 100% for us yet, but we are well on our way. We are going away next weekend. We rented a cabin in Hocking Hills, OH. It will be good for us to get away and just spend some time together.

Oh good, time alone like that is always a good thing.
You two will enjoy that.
