Reversable Crochet anyone?

I haven't done any reversable crochet myself but was asked how to do it elsewhere. I have done it with cro hooking but not normal crochet. My advice was to crochet one colour in the back loops only and another colour in the front loops only is this correct?We don't need such thick crochet here as our weather isn't as cold so i have never tried this out.

Most of the books I have state to use tunisian stitch for reversible
patterns. However, that doesn't mean there isn't another way, I just
haven't seen anything like you are describing.

That sounds very interesting. I've heard of this technique in tunisian crochet only. Regular crochet, I've yet to see and I'd love to.
