Ok, this is a bit of a different kind of scenario.
Yes, I'm relearning how to knit so I'm veeeeeeery slow at it. The reason I'm knitting instead of crocheting?? My Grandmother....
My grandmother made these slippers that I just love sooo much. She made them as long as I can remember and I've had a pair on my feet for at least a couple of minutes virutally every day of my life, as far back as I can remember. She died in June 2000 and took her slippers with her as she never wrote her pattern out, or so I thought.
She ha been insipred by an old tea cozy pattern in a magazine and took it from there to make her own pattern. Her youngest daughter, my mother's sister, my aunt....all the same person.....DID have the pattern....well, sort of.
She has the tea cozy pattern with the variations to make the slipper how my grandmother made it. That is what I need the help with.
Is there anyone who can help me write this out in 'normal' english so I can understand it better? I'm having a hard time understanding what I need to do and the slippers on my feet, still ones my grandmother made...one pink and one blue , are almost completely worn out at the bottom and I need new ones!!
Can you help me? If you think you can I'd love to email you the pattern with the revisions..............pleeeeeeease.........there must be someone!!!
Please help me carry on the family tradition.
