You know how your threads get tangled up when working with more than one color? Well, I read somewhere the other day that this lady uses a coat hanger. Undo the neck of the hanger and put it thro your thread balls and the do it back up. Viola! Then just hang it somewhere near you and crochet away. That's my tip for the day!! PS you can also use a 4 L milk jug! Cut a hole to fit the ball and thread it thro the spout....off ya go!

Thanks so much for this idea! You know, it may be a good way to store thread instead of in a drawer or bin. Hmm, now I have to find some wire hangers...
