Yay you!!!!

I've tried knitting but it never seems to work out for me. Maybe I'll try a simple dishcloth. Hey....maybe someone will start a beginner KAL and mentor poor souls like me who seem unable to knit! *HINT HINT*

Thanks guys:) Yes a cal sound good to me. Hey Gina I used cotton and it was so much easier cause the yarn didn't split which was always a problem for me. It was really easy to see the stitches on too.

Ok...I'm gonna hit up Knitting Pattern Central and look for a super easy and pattern for a beginner and see what I can come up with. (Like I need one more thing on my plate right now but I can't resist.)

That looks great Phoenix!

I'm glad you like working with cotton. I wish I did, I have trouble with it drying my hands out.

That is a really nice cloth gooooood job!

this is a site that is great for beginners or any one... it was posted here a while back & I love it.... very easy
http://www.knittingknonsense.com/index2.html
remember their not just dishcloths, I use baby yarn or sport yarn use them for washcloths and some yarns are great exfoliators ..... also make great gifts and I have taken a cloth patt from this site, then when came to the cast off I continued in a stockinette or garter or rib.... and made the length I wanted for a scarf.
