Here's a picture of my cotton ripple and it's more than halfway finished. I'm really enjoying making this 'ghan and it's at the point now that when I work on it, it completely covers my legs and goes over my tootsies!
I'm using a size I hook and Mission Falls 1824 cotton in a variety of colors as you can see. I always thought a cotton 'ghan would be too weighty but this one is very light and lofty, yet toasty at the same time.....a perfect combo!
Cheers, Laura

Yes, it's pretty widely available. I just purchased some extra colors that I needed at Webs and got a discount too, the best of both worlds! I had no idea I'd actually need to buy MORE of this yarn because I thought I had tons of it, but you know crocheting....it's a big 'eater upper' (how's that for good English ) of yarn, that's for sure.
Cheers, Laura |

That is turning out very nice. I love when they get long enough to keep me warm as I'm working.
I love how the colors are working together. You might convert me over to the idea of a cotton afghan yet! |
