(Work hidden ring by the following instructions)
Ch 5, (counts as dc, & ch 2)
(dc in ring, ch 2) 7 times,
join with a sl st in ch 3 of 1st ch 5, sl st into next ch 2 sp,
snug closed ring.
Finish off.
(8 dc, 8 ch 2 sp)

Wow all the examples are just beautful. I used the smaller hook and had to add a row of sc at the end. It kind of turned out lopsided. I hope I did it right.

It looks like you did the pattern just right

You might have did some of the stitching a tad tighter
in your corners, sometimes I do too and I will get a twist
on my pattern
