OK, I will add my list. If anyone can help with any of this, I would be SO grateful and WILL pay it forward. Due to the mortgage we now have to pay, I have to be careful and usually either try to use my stash first, find great buys on eBay, or hope for gift cards.
I LOVE gift cards from Michaels, Jo-Ann, Wal-Mart, Target, Fred Meyer, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks or Macy's (but so does everyone else so....)
Yarn and thread: I LOVE the following - Bernat Satin, Bernat Cottontots, Bernat Berella, Caron Simply Soft, Lion Brand Wool-Ease (not the bulky), Patons Canadiana, KnitPicks Shine Worsted, and I also use Sugar N'Cream/Peaches N'Cream type yarn. NO novelty, eyelash or fun fur. On thread, I ONLY use size 10 or 20 premium threads (Opera, Cebelia, Knit-Cro-Sheen). A true medium peach in any of these is hard to find and is a color I always seek, but any color is probably good except dark earth colors.
Hooks: I use Susan Bates (NOT Boye) size 5 for most any thread projects and tend to lose them. I use either Boye or Bates regular alumnium hooks in size F through J (favorite is I) for most yarn projects.
I am actually in pretty good shape on patterns, though one can never have too many Barbie gowns or join-as-you-go motifs! But ask first in case I already have it.
This is a longshot since I know they are expensive, but I would eventually love to have one of those thingies that convert skeins of yarn into those really nifty wheels that pull out from the center!
I LOVE powdered (NOT liquid) hazelnut coffee creamer (including Coffeemate or most any store brand).
Also LOVE silvertone or real silver or white gold pierced earrings or most other jewelry (no yellow gold). My favorite real or simulated gems are peridot, moonstone, garnet, amethyst, ruby, emerald and blue topaz.
I also LOVE moldy-oldie classic movies on DVD or VHS (as in, 50s or earlier), Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs stuff, and NASCAR stuff (I like Tony Stewart).
I collect sheep or lamb figurines, stuffed stuff, or most anything with sheep on it.
I also collect postcards of cities and towns, especially views down streets.
My large doggies love large doggie biscuits, such as Vita Bone, and they are nuts about the dried pig ears that come in a bag.
This one, any of you should be able to do - I want everyone to visit my personal site evergreenrefuge.org and please sign my guestbook! Also please click the voting links on my home page (there are only a couple).
Thanks for reading my list, and I am going to look and see what I can help others here with.
