AWESOME!! Love the fringe!
Quick question . . . on your border . . . did you just sc around a couple of times? I'm debating on a sc with a 2nd round of crab stitch (reverse sc). What do you think?
I'm 40 rows shy of finishing one of the side borders, then I've got 236 more rows for the 2nd border. Plus assembly & border . . . I see a marathon crochet day in my future for this weekend to get this finished in time.

I have really stalled out on this. This week has been CRAZY!
DH & I decided it was time to shop for a new car . . . Which took all of Monday & Wednesday night. It paid off in the end . . . as we're the proud new owners of a Vista Blue '08 Escape. . . which we'll be driving until the wheels fall off. BUT at least I'm out of a lease from H.E. double hockey sticks!
Tuesday & Thursday were shopping days. Thankfull, I've only got a few more quick gifts to pick up & I'm DONE!
I plan on a marathon crochet weekend to hopefully get the side borders strips finished and assembled this weekend, so all I'll have to worry about is a few rounds of SC and reverse SC. The good news is I'm about 18 rows from finishing the 1st strip, and if I work most of Saturday on the 2nd I should be in good shape.
OY, this is gonna be close! As DH's Christmas Party is Saturday night. |

I got it finished! But, wow was it close.
I absolutely love how it turned out. I ended up doing 3 rounds of sc & a round of reverse sc on the border.

| He was totally blown away! He's a number's kind of guy. When I told him how many stitches per row, total rows, and the time it took to do 1 row . . . He was extremely blown away the next day, after doing the math.

Here's a couple pictures w/ Dad and his blanket.
This is actually the back side of the blanket. . .
